On February 27, Election Day, let’s make sure our concerns resonate at the heart of voters’ decisions. This election is an opportunity to voice our realities, challenges, and aspirations for our French-language education system, our Francophone services, and the future of our communities.

Our priorities center around four key themes:

  1. Publicly funded French education: A pillar for our communities.
  2. Mental health and well-being: Access to services in French for everyone.
  3. Safer schools and workplaces: Creating safe and supportive learning and working environments.
  4. Better learning conditions for student success and well-being: Investing in French-language education workers and services.

Over 1.5 million people in Ontario speak French! Franco-Ontarian schools are the heart of our francophone communities and Francophones play a key role in driving the province’s economy. This election, stand for a stronger, more francophone Ontario.

Don’t let others decide for you.

Schools should be safe spaces to learn and teach. Every student deserves a secure and enriching learning environment. This election, support healthier schools for our students and staff.

Getting support for mental health can be hard. But if you are francophone it shouldn’t be impossible.

This election, vote for mental health supports in English AND French for all Ontarians.

As a pillar of Ontario’s future, publicly funded education not only generates $1.30 in total economic impact for every dollar invested—it shapes the success of our youth AND our province. This election, vote for a future built on strong education.

Why does AEFO advertise in English?

Being in a minority context does not mean we won’t be heard! To better promote the issues that matter to us, we also share some messages in English. This allows us to reach Francophiles, connect with Francophones who navigate the internet and social media in English, and engage political actors and decision-makers more effectively. Together, let’s ensure that the voice of the Francophone community is heard wherever it matters.
